Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA)
Often starts working a little sooner, sometimes within 2 to 3 days, and spreads a bit more, which can suit larger areas like the forehead. Typically lasts 3 to 4 months.
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA)
A 'naked' toxin with no extra proteins attached. Results and timing are similar to Botox.
Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA)
The newest of the four, approved in 2022, and it uses a peptide instead of human albumin. In clinical trials many patients' results lasted around 6 months, which may mean fewer visits a year.

What should I discuss before treatment?
Discuss your goals, medical history, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any neuromuscular conditions with your provider. Treatment may not be appropriate for everyone. Bruising, swelling, and headache can occur. Ask about risks and aftercare, including exercise and lying down; do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from your prescriber.
